The Waste Management Department of the municipality has impounded more than 2,000 vehicles abandoned by owners so far this year, the civic body has revealed to Gulf News. A total of 2,053 abandoned vehicles were impounded till the end of July this year, while as many as 3,577 vehicles were confiscated in 2018.
